Happy Birthday Aunt Cheryl!
Today is my Aunt Cheryl's birthday! She is a very special woman near and dear to my heart. Hands down the nicest person you'll ever meet. As you recall from one of my Mother's Day posts here, my Aunt is an avid gardener, so I try to include flowers on all the cards I make her. Charlotte with her rose was a great choice for her card. I also used Sketch Saturday #152 for the layout.
So what'd you all think about Boston Rob winning Survivor? He's always been a favorite player of mine, and I enjoyed all his frank comments. I think I'm more happy I don't have to see or listen to Phillip anymore! And how about Hawaii 5-0 last night?! That's the one thing about season finales that drive me nuts...the wait to see what will happen! I hope to catch up on CSI tonight.
Materials
Stamps: SCRS Charlotte w/rose, sentiment is PTI
Paper: BG Hello Lucious dp, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, foam tape, Nestie die, PTI ribbon and buttons, Kiaser Crafts pearls, stitching

Like you a Latte!
Still crankin' out the fun sentiments to pair with Gabrielle! She is so fun, and thank goodness she's an easy one to cut out! Lol! I used last week's CA&F's Sketchy Saturday sketch again for this card. Since it won me a free TGF stamp, I kinda have a soft spot for this sketch now! Haha! Plus it's nice and simple. You're going to get tired of the Lemonade paper again, but I used it ALL up!! "Another one bites the dust"! Enjoy your Wednesday! My second card class is tonight.

Sketchy Saturday with FFF and RTB
*~*~* UPDATE *~*~*
I'm a FFF winner!! This card won the challenge! Thank you TGF!

Wow! What a finale on Glee last night huh?! It was perfect. Had me laughing, had me crying, had me wishing it wasn't the finale. I'll admit though, I kinda thought for awhile now that Vocal Adrenaline wasn't going to win Regionals. I know, I know, bad me. But it really helped to show the lessons of the underdog and why we love them so much.....and that Sue has a heart! Lol!
OK.....so back to the REAL reason we're all here today. Three challenges in one card is a big thing for me! Lol! It's been awhile since I've inked up a Miss Anya, and with CA&F sketch this last Saturday I knew she'd be the perfect fit. Pairs nicely with my Splendor paper too, which I used for my "summer" feeling for the Raise The Bar challenge this week.

I added some rhinestones and Stickles to be "Bejeweled and Bedazzled" for this week's Farm Fresh Friday challenge over at TGF which asks you to be inspired by bling. This DKNY watch has been catching my eye lately at Macy's. Comes in green too...... Can never have to many watches!
Enjoy your Wednesday. It started raining again last night. When is summer ever going to get here in the Puget Sound?! Heard it's supposed to shape up for the weekend though.

Paper: CTMH Splendor L2pp, kraft

Sketchy (last) Saturday
I love how this card turned out! I haven't inked up Bree in a while, so I thought I'd use her for this week's Sketchy Saturday sketch over at Club Anya. My first thought of this sketch was that it was a little plain, but once I started to play around with the elements it turned out to be the perfect balance. This "snail mail" sentiment from Amuse is one of my favorites. Materials
Stamps: TGF Bree, Amuse sentiment
Paper: BG Lemonade (surprise!), CTMH cs,
Other: Copics, foam tape, Nestibilities, EK circle punch, adhesive pearls, CTMH inks and edge distresser, BG buttons, Prima flower

Like no other
Hee hee! This Dahlia image makes me happy! Especially paired with this BG paper. The sketch is from CA&F Sketchy Saturday #14. Again, I'm so glad that I can upload my challenge entries into the TGF galleria and not have to them on my blog first. Hopefully I'll have time today to play with the FFF challenge and this week's Sketchy challenge.Materials

Happy Birthday Katie!!
....yesterday. Another birthday, another card. My friend Katie celebrated her 25th birthday yesterday. Good times of pizza and beer at our favorite hang out, The Rock. The spry little Dahlia was a perfect choice for Katie's birthday card. Katie is just as spunky and unique. Shoulda colored her with more reddish hair though since Katie's a redhead. This layout follows this weeks Sketchy Saturday over at Club Anya & Friends. Good thing they allow spouts in their challenges now, since I tend to lean toward them more. Finally played with my new Basic Grey paper too. Love it!
So GLEE fans....did you watch the special Oprah show yesterday with the cast of "Glee"?! oh yeah, AWESOME! Only 6 more days!!
Materials
Stamps: TGF-Dahlia, CTMH-Fringed Phrases
Paper: BG Green at Heart, CTMH cs

Bella-rific week
While cleaning out my scrap room to find stuff to sell at my Crafter's Garage Sale this last weekend, I came across some more CTMH Bella paper that I thought was all gone. Grrrr! So, in order to finally use up every last scrap I'm making cards all week with the (hopefully) last of this paper.

This first card uses this week's Sketchy Saturday sketch at CA&F. I thought Miss Anya with her flowers paired well with the Bella dp.
Materials
Stamps: TGF Miss Anya, CTMH Fringed Phrases
Paper: CTMH cs and Bella L2pp
Other: CTMH inks and ribbon, Copics, Primas, EK border punch, Robin's Nest skittle

Sketchy Gigi
Wow, it's amazing how things in life can sneek up on you and just pile up! Had a bit on my plate, but I managed to finish enough to play a little bit today and have some posts lined up for you.Today's post is for CA&F Sketchy Saturday. Uses my new Gigi stamp that I won from the CA&F 12 Days of Sketches challenges when I made this card. I'll be honest, I bought all the other of the Sprouts that released the same time as Gigi, but she wasn't really my style so I didn't buy her. Guess that gave me one to win then!
See this super cool flower I made?! I've seen them around blogland and decided to give it a try. SUPER EASY!! Punched a few scalloped circles from an old book (on that a horrible read, so I felt justified) and then inked the edges, wrinkled them up, glued them together, then topped them with a button. Ta-da! It also helps me qualify for the FFF to make something "vintage".Materials
Stamps: TGF Gigi, CTMH Fringed Phrases
Paper: CTMH cs and Veranda dp
Other: CTMH inks, ribbon, hemp, edge distresser. Copics, Nestie, foam tape, misc. button, pearls, liquid pearls.

Sketchy Saturday #5
Again, I must say that it's nice that I can upload my challenge entries for CA&F to the TGF gallery anytime so that I can post this on my blog at my convenience. Makes it easier when I have to post other challenge cards at certain times to qualify. So this card is created using Jessica's sketch for Sketchy Saturday #5 over at Club Anya & Friends. Yet again, I don't own an oval Nestie or anything, so I hand cut this out. Turned out pretty well if I do say so myself. :)
Materials:
Stamps: TGF Bree, Amuse sentiment
Paper: BG Lemonade dp, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, foam tape, 'Lil Davis ribbon, CTMH inks, BG buttons, EK punch

It's a TGF kinda card

Hello all! Back today with another challenge card. This one combines two challenges brought on by the lovely ladies at The Greeting Farm and Club Anya and Friends. TGF's Farm Fresh Friday challenge called for a monocramatic color scheme, and the sketch is from Jessica's Sketchy Saturday challenge over at CA&F.
Ruby is my favorite of the newest Sprouts and I thought she'd be fun on this card. Everything just came together like magic. It didn't take me very long at all to finish it. Used some fun new flowers and dp, as well as a cool piercing guide tool--those plastic mesh things that my grandma uses to make bookmarks and all kinds of stuff with yard or thread. Nona's great idea, plus they only cost like 40 cents! Got a regular sheet of it too that I cut up into 12 squares to give to my card class (and one for me) as piercing guides for straight lines. That's what I used on yesterday's card. :)
Having pizza and drinks with the girls tonight. LOVE Rock Pizza and Brewery! YUM!!
Materials
Stamps: TGF Ruby, CTMH For All Occasions and Togetherness
Paper: CTMH cs and Topstich dp
Other: CTMH inks, ribbon, piercing tool and flower, Copics, CB folder, foam tape, Coluzzle

Super cute Ruby

I think Ruby is my favorite of the new Sprouts over at TGF. She kinda reminds me of my dear friend Josie. Their hair is similar, their style is similar, and sometimes Josie gives that slight grin that makes you wonder what she's thinking. Which is why I think I'll give her this card for her birthday next month.
The layout of this card is based on this sketch by Pam over at CA&F for the Sketchy Saturdays challenge. Again, another card with an oval. Think I need to invest in some oval Nesties.... but until then, using Ruby's shape as the oval had to do. This is one of my top 5 favorite cards I've made in the last few months. I love everything about it and I'm so happy with how it turned out.
Materials
Stamps: TGF-Ruby, CTMH-Say It In Style
Paper: Sassafrass Lass dp, CTMH hollyhock dp and colonial white cs
Other: CTMH inks, brads and sunflower waxy flax. Copics, PTI buttons, misc. ribbon, foam tape
