Hello everyone! Today I bring you a card for this week's Lil' Lolita Boutique Challenge #13 which calls for anything Girly Girl. Well pink, lace, and pearls seemed pretty girly to me! More scrap lace from Grandma was used here for the strip and to create the "flower". I knew I wanted to use this paper from my Cosmo Cricket pack, but I didn't have a pink that matched this shade just right. So after some experimentation, I discovered that if I laid down R22 as a base and then layered E31 over it, it helped change the tone to be closer to the color I needed. Speaking of Lil' Lolita Boutique.....I have been chosen to be a guest DT for the month of October!! I'm so excited! Love the Lolitas and can't wait to have fun with the LLBC. Kellie says that October should not be missed. Do I hear a NEW release coming?!
I hope you're enjoying your holiday weekend. I actually don't have to work today since it's my normal day off, so Mom and I are going Goodwill shopping! We LOVE to go looking for treasures and find cool stuff. I often find craft items that I use on my cards.
