Bellariffic bean

Greetings! I'm back today with a card for this week's Bellariffic Challenge which was an easy one for me: Use kraft! Since I use it on just about every card I make, this was a no-brainer! Latte Bella is still my favorite Bella, but I have yet to make a card with my new Rain-Never-Stopped-Me-a-Bella. I have her in my big stack of already colored images just waiting for me to make her into a card. I also used Sweet Sunday Sketch #115 for this, and modified it just a bit.

Hope you all enjoy your Friday. I'm going to my BFF Katie's house today. Our other BFF, Sara is coming too and she's bringing her 6 month old daughter and her 3 year old nephew to play with Katie's son Tyler in his new bouncy house! This should be a fun, yet tiring evening! We're also getting details lined up for Katie's next baby shower since she's already 7 months with baby #2!

Materials
Stamps: Stamping Bella Latte Bella, sentiment is A Muse
Paper: BG Hello Lucious dp, PTI kraft, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, foam tape, Coluzzle, Memento ink, CTMH ink, Prima flower, BG brad, rhinestones

Let's Hang Out-SSSC #104

It's me again! Still at CU having a blast! But I posted ahead for todayto share a fun little card I made using this week's Sweet Sunday sketch. This is one of my favorite Unity images and I knew it would be perfect for this sketch. Good way to use up some more of my Material Girl dp too. For some reason, I have this aversion to using it. Just never feel like it works with what I want to make. But this time it worked great!

I made these fun felt flowers too with some scrap felt I found at Goodwill and my Nestie dies. Easy-peasy! I made a bunch of them while I was watching the Grammys. Always have to be productive while I watch TV!

Materials
Stamps: Unity KOTM
Paper: CC Material Girl dp, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, foam tape, CMTH ink and hemp, Memento ink, EK punch, felt, Nestie, misc. button, pebbles

Sneaky Peeky!

Hello everyone! The Critter Crew and I have some cool sneak peeks for you today! There will be 3 new Critters being released on Nov. 1st, and they are super cute!

As the holiday season draws near, Marina supplied us with some adorable wintry friends to help celebrate. Today I'm showcasing the Chipmunk Candy Cane digi. Doesn't he look so happy gnawing on his candy cane?! It's like that's the only Christmas present he needs! I paired him up with some of my new BG Jovial dp, and used the metal "happy holidays" charm to accent. Too bad the sentiment didn't show up in the photo. I also used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch #90.
So check out the other fun creations from the Critter Crew, and be sure to come back on the first for TGF's November release blog hop where there are sure to be prizes!! Linda will be unable to join us the next couple weeks while she moves, but we're soooo glad Heather is back!

Another Bella--SSSC #84

This is one of my favorite Bellas. Maybe it's because I never leave for work in the morning without my coffee! I had colored a bunch of images when I hung out with Nona, Sparkle, and Jen a while ago and now I have everything ready to go to actually keep up with challenges this week! Shocker!

This card uses this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch #84. I rotated the sketch to fit my Bella, which made it so I had to put the sentiment on it's side which is something I never really do. It still kinda weirds me out that it's on there like that, but oh well. But hey! Look at how (almost) straight my stitching is! :D

Enjoy your Wednesday. Time for me to catch up on some projects and get ready for one of my card classes tomorrow.

Materials
Stamps: Stamping Bella LatteaBella
Paper: BG Green at Heart dp, A Muse kraft, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, EK punches, Prima flower, misc. button, stitching

Farm Fresh Friday "Rule of 3"

Hello everyone! Welcome to another edition of the FFF challenge! This week the challenge is "Rule of 3". Use at least THREE different DP's and THREE different embellishments (ex. not three buttons, but some buttons, ribbon, and bling-just has to be 3 different types!)

I barely snuck in my 3rd dp! Haha! I had this yellow one picked out, but when I tried to use a larger piece it made it too busy. That's when I decided to make it more subtle and have simple circles behind my red buttons. And the buttons are one of my 3 different embellishments: Buttons, Prima flower, and ribbon. :) I also used SSSC#83 for my layout.

Stop on by the TGF Blog for more details. Here's the list of DT blogs, so go and be inspired!

Ivy with SSSC #80

Ivy is my favorite of my new Lil' Lolita digis. She's so stinkin cute with a little bit of sass. Plus that outfit?! So funky! This image was a lot of fun to color. It was my first attempt at coloring hazel eyes. That's one bonus about the Lolitas' big eyes...you can play with the coloring. I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch #80. It also goes with this week's challenge over at Lil' Lolita Boutique that calls for "lots of dots". I think this BG Eve dp qualifies for that, and the skittles....and the dotted ribbon.
Materials
Stamps: Lil' Lolita Ivy digi, CTMH Fringed Phrases ss
Paper: BG Eve dp, CTMH cs, Amuse kraft
Other: Copics, misc. ribbons, Robin's Nest skittles, CTMH inks

LatteaBella (SSSC#77)

Little late getting up today and posting, sorry. Finally able to sleep in a bit on one of my days off...in fact it's been a while since I've had 2 days off. It's been nice!

Anyways....back to the reason you're all here! LatteaBella is another of my recent Stamping Bella purchases. This is me this morning, minus the cute outfit. Lol! I always start my day off with coffee. It's kind of a prerequisite living in the Seattle area I think. ;) I also used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch #77.

SSSC #76

Back again with another sketch challenge card. This one is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #76. Super simple layout, which is perfect since I wasn't feeling the Mojo when I made this and yesterday's card. Notice I used the same EXACT paper? Hey, the scraps where sitting right there, so why not?! I bought these great salmon colored buttons in bulk at a LSC, but when I went to use this one it had this huge hole in the middle. Very odd, but I used it as an opportunity to put a rhinestone to cover it up!

Don't forget to come back for the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Grand Opening blog hop tonight at midnight. Adorable new stamps to oogle at, purchase, and possibly WIN!!

Enjoy your weekend! Our 90+ temps are supposed to stay strong again today. I'm so glad summer is finally here!!

Materials
Stamps: KK Drucilla, CTMH Fringed Phrases
Paper: BG Nook & Pantry dp, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, misc. ribbon and button, rhinstone, CTMH inks

Back in the swing

Sorry I've been more miss than hit this last week. Crazy busy with a lot of projects. I finally had a lull this weekend that I could play and create some fun cards to share.

I used Sweet Sunday Sketch #69 for today's layout. I'm trying to use up the last of my Lemonade dp, so you'll be seeing a lot of it this week. Now I'm off to make some breakfast. Hope you all enjoy your day!

Materials
Stamps: TGF Reeta, CTMH Fringed Phrases
Paper: BG Lemonade dp, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, Coluzzle, CTMH inks and piercing tool, BG Lemonade buttons and brads, foam tape

Scrap creation

I've been sitting on this silly paper forever! I'm glad I've finally used it up on this card and the one for a later post. Since I'm a master paper-hoarder, this is a good thing! Lol! The inspiration for this layout is (very) loosely based off of Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #66.

Materials
Stamps: Stamping Bella-Ketto, CTMH Fringed Phrases
Paper: KI Memories dp, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, CTMH ink, AC button, Prima flower, Stickles, Coluzzle, foam tape

2 takes on Sweet Sunday #64

I very rarely make square cards, and I don't know why. They're really cute and fun! This sketch is based of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #64 from a while back. I tried to do something a little different with my Copics on this first card. I started by coloring the edges of my Nestie cutout with my dark purple, and then added the lighter by blending it together, and then I used my blending pen to "bleed" the color inward. It was interesting. Don't know if I'll ever do it again though. What do you think?

I had so much fun making the first cute little number that I decided to make another. Notice that this scooter image is my latest favorite? I really like it on this second card. The colors are very vibrant and fun! The pink circle dp is one of my favorite from this paper pack too.

So you all have fun watching "Glee" last night?!! I soooo missed Kristen Chenoweth! Her character is (as my friend Christine put it) "delightfully tacky". Lol! This was a very warm-and-fuzzy episode. LOVED Kurt and his song! Also loved the talk his dad had with Finn. Sad to see Kurt so hurt over them getting along though. Can't wait for next week!

Materials
Stamps: Unity March KOTM, CTMH Simple Stitches
Paper: BG Green at Heart dp, CTMH cs
Other: Copics, Prima flowers, misc. felt flower, CTMH inks and buttons, Nestie Label,

Simple but oh-so cute!

When I first flipped through my new Kioshi paper, I saw this sheet and I knew it would make a super simple, yet nicely elegant card. And!...I also knew that Chanter would be the perfect complement! Doesn't she just look so happy?! This follows the Sweet Sunday Sketch #63.
Still haven't found my Coluzzle knife, but Fiskars makes a swivel knife and it works perfect! Yay!
Only 5 more days until GLEE is back! AND!....Neil Patrick Harris as a special guest star?! Shut-up! I can hardly wait!
Materials
Stamps: Chanter Heartsong-Sweet November Stamps, sentiment-Amuse
Paper: BG Kioshi dp, CTMH cs, kraft
Other: Copics, Coluzzle, foam tape, misc. flower, Makign Memories button. CTMH ink, sparkles, edge distresser, and paper piercer

Isn't this owl so cute?! He looks a little sad though. I decided to paper piece him to match the Bella dp. This layout follows this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch #57.

Hope you all are enjoying the Olympics. Hasn't it been amazing?! Go USA!!

Materials
Stamps: Unity Jan and Feb KOTMs, CTMH D1418

Sweet Sunday #55

Can you say bright and cheery?! Lol! I pulled this crazy paper out of my stash specifically because it matched a ribbon for tomorrow's card. This is what I created out of the leftovers.

The layout for this is from Sweet Sunday Challenge #55
It was a fun sketch and I had just enough paper to complete it. This cute image is another RAK from Sparkle. Thought she went perfectly with the whole idea of the card.
Pizza night at The Rock again with the girls. Yummy in my tummy! Lol! ;)
Materials
Stamps: RAK image, CTMH Simple Stitches and Say it in Style
Paper: Scrap dp and cs
Other: Copics, CTMH inks and paper piercer, foam tape, 'Lil Davis ribbon, EK punch

I believe in fairies!

Especially super cute ones designed by my blogging friend, Amy! This week she is a guest over at Quixotic Challenges where her Sweet November stamps (which are available HERE) are featured in the "I Believe In Fairies" challenge. All you have to do is incorporate a fairy somewhere in your creation. Since I {heart} Amy's fairy sweets, I decided to use Fidget for my main image. Can't wait to play with the new releases that should be arriving on my doorstep sometime next week!

The sketch for this card is very loosely based on the Sweet Sunday Sketch #54, very loosely. I just bought this MS border punch with my coupon at M's the other day and I love it! Makes a mess though with all those dots.

Materials
Stamps: Tangle Goblinspider-Sweet November Stamps, CTMH Say It In Style
Paper: KI Memories dp, CTMH cs
Other: CTMH ribbon, inks, and paper piercer, Copics, foam tape, CM flowers, AC button, Recollection apoxy stickers, Spica white gel pen.

I'm baaaacckkk! :D

Ahhh! It's so GREAT to be back into the swing of my craftiness! It just makes me so happy to have time to play again. In fact, in an hour I'm meeting some girlfriends to have some crafty time together. Happy Happy, Joy Joy! (ah, Ren & Stimpy, I miss thee)

So onto the whole reason you've stopped by my blog today.....

I actually participated in some challenges with this one! Back crafting AND doing challenges?! I'm amazing myself! Lol! So the first challenge is the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketches #51. It's my first try at this challenge and I'll be revisiting it for sure.

My other "virgin" challenge submission is to Raise The Bar #2 which calls to use a gifted item. Well this super cute Gorjuss Girl, and the paper, was a RAK from Amy over Christmas. Yay! Thanks Amy! I have a few more cards coming up that use some more of this RAK. Since my friend Sparkle is a "Bar-tender" at RTB, I decided to scrap-lift one of my favorite little details she occasionally does on her cards--the ribbon sentiment is raised in the middle to look like a waving ribbon. Love it! So cool, yet so easy.

I got the idea for the clouds on my main image from this fantastic card by Sandra. She does a much better job of it than I did though!

OK. Enough yaking from me! Have to pack up my mobile craft unit and go hang with the girls. ;)

Materials

Stamps: Gorjuss Girl RAK, CTMH Say It In Style and Simple Stitches

Paper: KI Memories dp, CTMH cs

Other: CTMH inks and buttons, Copics, Coluzzle, foam tape.
